Day 1: Arrival and check in
Check in in the afternoon. You may arrive earlier and leave your luggage at reception to take a stroll. At 6 pm you have the introduction to your yoga instructor and other participants in the yoga room whilst enjoying a cup of herbal tea or lemon water. At 6.30 pm the first yoga class starts and lasts until 8 pm. At 8.30 pm you are invited for a two course set menu in restaurant Zee & Land (Sea & Land). If you prefer to have your dinner on another evening, just inform the reception and the yoga teacher.
Day 2: Yoga workshops
The Yoga workshop will start at 8am and lasts 90 minutes. The yoga class is both for beginners and advanced levels, although in our experience our weekends attract a lot of guests who are beginners. The yoga teacher will see who is at what level and respond. After the class its time for breakfast.
The afternoon is for your own leisure. Obviously the place lends itself very well to relaxing: the fireplace with a good book, fine wine tasting, enjoying a visit to the sauna in the wellness centre or take a relaxing walk on the beach or through the luxury boutique shops in the village.
At 5pm is the yoga class for 90 minutes. Dinner this evening is excluded so you can eat in the hotel restaurant or explore any of the high quality restaurants’ within 200 meters.
Day 3: Yoga workshop and check out
The Yoga workshop will start at 8.30 am and lasts 90 minutes. After the class, time for breakfast.
Check out is at 12 pm. A late check-out is possible, please ask the reception for more information.

Where do you teach? ‘In Zeeland in Renesse, Kortgene and Zierikzee.’
What type of yoga do you teach? ‘I teach vinyasa yoga (also known as flow yoga) and yin yoga.’
What characterises your classes? ‘The aim of yin yoga is to open up the connective tissue and joints. Vinyasa yoga is a powerful, dynamic style based on a series of fluid yoga postures. I like to combine the best of both. And I motivate students to go that little bit further.’
What do people say about you? ‘That I’m empathic, friendly and relaxed. That not only do I have expertise, but also a kind personality. They also say that my classes are suited to beginners.’

Where do we find you? ‘I mainly teach on behalf of Puurenkuur at Badhotel Domburg. If the weather’s good, I’ll teach on the beach.’
What type of yoga do you teach? ‘My yoga classes are diverse and can be best described as Hatha yoga.’
What characterises your classes? ‘Varied, sometimes powerful, dynamic, sometimes calming, but always gentle and loving, taught from the heart.’
What do people say about you? ‘That my classes are very intense in terms of their degree of peace and depth. People enjoy that stillness and find it relaxes them.’
Personal attention for all November 24, January 12, February 23, October 17, November 16,
Where do we find you? ‘At Badhotel Domburg, Grand Hotel Ter Duin, Landgoed De Holtweijde and in Boshotel Vlodrop. I also teach yoga in Baarn.’
What type of yoga do you teach? ‘My classes are based on Hatha yoga. But it’s the participants themselves who dictate the style and intensity of the class to suite their needs. Vinyasa flow or power yoga can feature alongside the main Hatha yoga classes.’
What characterises your classes? ‘I trained in the Far East. All the experiences I gained there are reflected in my way of teaching. A theme, a focus and a little massage at the end of a class... But above all, individual attention for all, and plenty of variation in the lesson structure.’
What do people say about you? ‘My classes are accessable for everyone. Wheter you are practicing yoga for the first time or you are advanced. With every Puurenkuur Program each individual will have their own added value afterwards.'
March 16, March 23, November 30, December 7
Where do we find you? ‘I had a studio in Zeeland where I taught yoga and Pilates. I’ve since moved to the UAE and now live in Abu Dhabi, where I give private classes. I also lead the Puurenkuur yoga retreats.’
Specialities ‘I teach integral yoga, hatha yoga and ashtanga yoga: three different classical forms of yoga. Integral yoga is the most spiritual form of yoga, whilst ashtanga is the most strenuous. I’m a master of all trades!’
Characteristic ‘Thanks to my varied background (I worked at a physio practice for 8 years) I am able to guide people and correct postures where required. That is also reflected in feedback from my students: that I give clear instruction and correct people. Maybe a bit too diligent sometimes, ha!’
Passion ‘I like giving people the opportunity to experience all three yoga forms during the weekend. And am, of course, open to suggestions. If anyone is interested in finding out more, they can take a look at my website www.yogaprakriti.nl.’
