The Pure ‘n Cure yoga retreats have been very successful over the years. We think the success is due to the good yoga teachers, the comfort of a four star hotel and the sea nearby. All ingredients you need for a relaxing weekend!
Badhotel Domburg is a lovely hotel about 250 meters from the sea. The small idyllic town of Domburg breathes the atmosphere of a rich past. Domburg is located directly on the sea and is characterized by the magnificent dune landscape. We are impressed with the fine white sand on the wide, expansive beaches and pure, clear seawater, which is typical for this part of Zeeland. This retreat included two nights with an extensive breakfast buffet included (and Prosecco!), a two-course set menu and four 90-minutes yoga workshops.
If the dates are not convenient for this yoga weekend, please have a look at our group yoga retreat in the Holtweijde (Overijssel, the Netherlands, OR our new yoga retreat in Fontana Bad Nieuweschans (Groningen, the Netherlands) or Boshotel Vlodrop in Limburg.
Any holiday combination can be accommodated at this hotel; be it a short break or extensive stay, with or without a specific programme, or simply a more luxurious room. Our specialist team has the knowledge and first hand experience to be able to properly advise on your hotel choice.
This is a group holiday (minimum number of participants: 10, maximum number of participants: 18).

~Location and highlights ~
The small idyllic town of Domburg breathes the atmosphere of a rich past. Domburg is located directly on the sea, on the northwest coast of the Walcheren peninsula, and is characterized by the magnificent dune landscape. It is obvious that many view Domburg as a favourite resort and choose this destination because of its unique combination of quality fine dining, dunes, sea and forests. We are impressed with the fine white sand on the wide, expansive beaches and pure, clear seawater, which is typical for this part of Zeeland. There are several free walking areas in among other places outside Hoogduin, Westhove en Berkenbos (approx. 210 hectare), which form a beautiful hardwood forest area with parks and ponds. You can enjoy the cosy shops, excellent restaurants whilst strolling along the terraces. The nearest city is Middelburg with its historic centre and medieval abbey. It is a 1,5 hour’s drive from Rotterdam and 2,5 hour’s drive from Utrecht.
Badhotel Domburg is a lovely hotel about 250 meters from the sea. Hospitality and service are top notch. There is a grand café (for snacks and easy food) and the chic restaurant Zee & Land (Sea & Land) at the Hotel who warmly welcome you for the extensive breakfast buffet (with Prosecco!) or a diner from the A La Carte menu.
The hotel features various yoga rooms, a library with a fireplace and a desk in the reception area to book various excursions (such as the Tuktuk with a lunchbox, great!). There is a small play area for children.

At 6.30 pm the first yoga class starts and lasts until 8 pm. At 8.30 pm you are invited for a two course set menu in restaurant Zee & Land (Sea & Land). The afternoon is for your own leisure. Obviously the place lends itself very well to relaxing: the fireplace with a good book, fine wine tasting, enjoying a visit to the sauna in the wellness centre or take a relaxing walk on the beach or through the luxury boutique shops in the village.

Where do you teach? ‘In Zeeland in Renesse, Kortgene and Zierikzee.’
What type of yoga do you teach? ‘I teach vinyasa yoga (also known as flow yoga) and yin yoga.’
What characterises your classes? ‘The aim of yin yoga is to open up the connective tissue and joints. Vinyasa yoga is a powerful, dynamic style based on a series of fluid yoga postures. I like to combine the best of both. And I motivate students to go that little bit further.’
What do people say about you? ‘That I’m empathic, friendly and relaxed. That not only do I have expertise, but also a kind personality. They also say that my classes are suited to beginners.’

Personal attention for all November 24, 2017
Where do we find you? ‘At Badhotel Domburg, Grand Hotel Ter Duin, Landgoed De Holtweijde and in Boshotel Vlodrop. I also teach yoga in Baarn.’
What type of yoga do you teach? ‘My classes are based on Hatha yoga. But it’s the participants themselves who dictate the style and intensity of the class to suite their needs. Vinyasa flow or power yoga can feature alongside the main Hatha yoga classes.’
What characterises your classes? ‘I trained in the Far East. All the experiences I gained there are reflected in my way of teaching. A theme, a focus and a little massage at the end of a class... But above all, individual attention for all, and plenty of variation in the lesson structure.’
What do people say about you? ‘My classes are accessable for everyone. Wheter you are practicing yoga for the first time or you are advanced. With every Puurenkuur Program each individual will have their own added value afterwards.'
