The afternoon is for your own leisure. Obviously the place lends itself very well to relaxing: the fireplace with a good book, fine wine tasting, enjoying a visit to the sauna in the wellness center or visit surrounding towns nearby such as Enschede or Munster.
At 5 pm is the yoga class for 90 minutes. Dinner this evening is excluded from the package so you are free to eat in the restaurant of the hotel or in the village high street.
Day 3: Yoga workshop and check out
The Yoga workshop will start at 8.30 am and lasts 90 minutes. Check out is at 12 pm, but you can still use your room till 6 pm.

‘Mantras guide you to your inner self’
Where do we find you? ‘For Puurenkuur I host yoga weekends at Landgoed De Holtweijde in Lattrop. I also teach at my own yoga studio, Yoga Oldenzaal. It’s in the country between Oldenzaal and Denekamp.’
What type of yoga do you teach? ‘A combination of Raja yoga, Chakra yoga and Hatha yoga, with some meditation and mantra chants to channel the thoughts. As well as regular adults classes, I also teach pregnancy yoga, baby massage, baby yoga and 1-2-1 chakra therapy.’
What characterises your classes? ‘Mantras, self-discovery, individual attention and immersion. We listen to or sing mantras during my classes. A mantra is an utterance which consists of a word, a sentence or short sentences. It is a repetition of sounds which lead you to your inner self. Self-discovery is key to my classes. Individual attention clarifies important details and the information that’s needed comes to the fore.’
What do people say about you? ‘They say that they are able to relax through my classes, returning home with a clearer head and looser body. My classes are suited to both beginners and experienced yogis. There is plenty of positive reinforcement and explanation and the sessions are well-structured.’
‘Personal attention for all’
Where do we find you? ‘At Badhotel Domburg, Grand Hotel Ter Duin, Landgoed De Holtweijde and in Boshotel Vlodrop. I also teach yoga in Baarn.’
What type of yoga do you teach? ‘My classes are based on Hatha yoga. But it’s the participants themselves who dictate the style and intensity of the class to suite their needs. Vinyasa flow or power yoga can feature alongside the main Hatha yoga classes.’
What characterises your classes? ‘I trained in the Far East. All the experiences I gained there are reflected in my way of teaching. A theme, a focus and a little massage at the end of a class... But above all, individual attention for all, and plenty of variation in the lesson structure.’
What do people say about you? ‘My classes are accessable for everyone. Wheter you are practicing yoga for the first time or you are advanced. With every Puurenkuur Program each individual will have their own added value afterwards.'

‘I like repetition’
Where do we find you? ‘For Puurenkuur, you’ll find me at Landgoed De Holtweijde. I also teach yoga in Soest and often do home visits for energy work and massage. On top of that, I do some voluntary work in hospitals for Stichting De Regenboogboom.
What type of yoga do you teach? ‘My classes are based on Dru yoga: a supple, fluid form of yoga which pays particular attention to the spine and the heart area. Stillness in movement.’
What characterises your classes? ‘I love repetition. By repeating an exercise, you often come to experience it differently each time. Your experiences are also affected by, for example by what you’ve eaten, contact with others and the position of the moon and the stars. If you know the exercise inside out, repetition allows you to experience the exercise on different levels.’
What do people say about you? ‘They say I’m enthusiastic. And that I combine spirituality with a down-to-earth attitude. My yoga classes are intended for everyone. That means elite athletes to eighty year olds and everything in between. It doesn’t matter who you are, what matters is the effect.’
